Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu - Walking Tour to Kathmandu Durbar Square and Ason Market
Arrival in Kathmandu by flight at the capital of Nepal, at Nepal's only International Airport, Tribhuvan Airport. Our representative will brief you about our company and general information, and the meeting time will be scheduled about the program during on the way to hotel.The Kathmandu Durbar Square, listed as one of the eight World Heritage sites by UNESCO, is a cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards and streets that date back to the 12th and 18th centuries. Itumbahal is an old Newari settlement set in a large coutyard and famous for its traders in herbal spices and medicines. From here we continue to Indrachowk, one of Kathmandu's most colourful and ancient local markets. We finish our tour with a walk to Ason chowk.
Day 2 City tour visiting Patan Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa
Patan Durbar Square: It is surrounded by a fascinating array of temples in differentarchitectural styles. In Patan Durbar Square we will be visiting Golden Temple and Patan Museum. Golden Temple – it is one of the best example of courtyard temple architecture. This temple is mixture of both Buddhist and Newari culture so it have its own religious believes like shoes and leather articles must be removed to enter the temple. Patan Museum – it is one of the royal palaces for the Malla kings of the Kathmandu valley which shows the beauty of Nepalese art and architecture.
Swayambhunath: is one of the oldest and most revered shrines in the country. Perched atop a conical hill, its lofty white dome and glittering golden spire with the all-seeing-eyes is a not only a major landmark of the valley, but equally, a symbol of Nepal. The stupa has been an important Buddhist pilgrimage site since the 5th century. You can reach the shrine by climbing 365 steps up the hill, or by a winding road on the other side. You will see numerous chaityas and temples in the complex, but watch out especially for the mysterious Shantipur Temple.
Boudhanath Stupa: One of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal with its distinctive architectural design; a stupa dome set above the Mandala base, Boudhanath Stupa is the faith-bowl for hundreds of pilgrims, who gather every day, around the stupa, to make a kora (ritual circumnavigation) of the dome. Tibetan monks in maroon robes with shaved heads wander the prayer-flag–decked streets while pilgrims spin prayer wheels and light-up butter lamp as their ritual devotion. There is an ancient belief that even if a person who has committed great sins, circles around the stupa, even once, shall granted one chance to atone for his sins.
Day 3 Drive to Kurintar
Kathmandu to Kurintar via Prithivi Highway, one of the busiest highway in Nepal. The construction of the highway started in 1967 with the help of the Chinese government. The highway is named after the first king of Nepal, Prithivi Narayan Shah. Upon reaching Kurintar, cross a suspension bridge over Trishuli River and hike to our remote lodge (45 minutes walks, approx) by the banks of Trishuli River passing through local settlements, which is a hamlet for various tribes, like Magar, Chettri & Brahman. The lodge is only accessible by foot.Day 4 Drive Chitwan
Leaving Kurintar early in the morning with the impressive view - the Trishuli river, ancient stone village backed by steep rice terrace, suspension bridges & mountains beyond. At Mugling turn south slowly descend from the central hills to the fertile lowlands of the Western Terai & Chitwan National Park.Chitwan National Park is the homeland of the Tharu who are the original tribe of this region. They have their own language, culture and traditional beliefs. Along the way to village you can see local people, culture, tradition, religion and heritage.
Day 5 Jungle Adventure in Chitwan National Park
Elephant Ride: Visit the jungle on the back of five ton elephant. This trilling elephant ride provides a great vantage point for viewing the abundant wildlife area & a great chance to spot a rhinos or tiger from high above the tall grass.Elephant Washing: You will get a nice feeling of childhood wonder as you help bath an elephant. You'll be rewarded with a refreshing trunk full of cold water. This is also the best way to cool off on hot afternoon.
Jungle Walk: A fantastic way to get close to the wildlife with two local professional guides. In this excitement you can enjoy the green harmony of all trees and an impressive range of animals. Keep an eye out for tigers, crocodiles, wild elephants, monkeys and rhinos. If you are lucky it is possible to see them.
Bird Watching Tours: Here an exciting amount of highly vulnerable bird (some of them endangered) can be seen.For example Chetnut-capped, Babbler,Blue-Bearded Bee eater, River Lapwing, Red Jungle Fowl, Black-Rumped, Himalayan &Greater Flamebacks. A lot more species like the Grey-header Woodpecker can also be found in Chitwan National Park.

Day 6 Drive to Bandipur
After breakfast we will be leaving Chitwan, ascend from the vast expanse of the Western Terai to Central Hills enroute, you will pass through Bharatpur. Situated on a hilltop above the highway town of Dumre, Bandipur captivates the visitor with its cultural appeal and pristine scenery. This Newar town has maintained its age-old flavor, and presents sightseers with a heady mix of history, architecture, incredible views, awesome caves and unspoiled landscapes.Day 7 Heritage Walk to Ramkot Village
Hiking to Ramkot through the village trails where you can see typical village-life, traditional homes and interesting temples. Purano Kot: formerly an old fort, lays just twenty minute walk west from the bazaar. A small temple nearby contains old statutes. Beside this, a newer temple has been built, where local people come to pray for rain to the god Mahadev during times of drought. A further two hours hike away, is Ramkot village. Passing through Muchuk village and Mukundeswari, Ramkot is a typical Magar village with traditional round houses, little touched by modern development. Another two hours along an easy trail is Chabdi Barahj, a pilgrimage site.Day 8 Drive to Rupakot
From Bandipur, rejoin the Prithvi Highway for the 79km to Pokhara - Sarangkot. Heading west across the Madi River; climbing again (with view of deep rocky gorges crossed by suspension bridges) before descending to the broad Seti Valley.Beautifully located on top of green hill at an elevation of 1100m from sea level and just 1 hour drive from the tourist hub Pokhara. Day 9 Hiking in Rupakot
This day you will explore the most incredible scenery and fascinating village and get to interact with Locals. This is one of the best hike where you can see the beautiful different mountain ranges and lakes with excellent scenery.Day 10 Drive to Pokhara, Walking tour to Lakeside
The main attraction walking tour to Lakeside is the reflection of Mount Fishtail and Annapurna range on the crystal clear water of the lake. Pokhara's Phewa Lake is the most popular destination for travelers wanting to indulge in recreational boating or walking around lakeside.Day 11 Sightseeing in Pokhara, Boating in Phewa Lake, Visit to World Peace Pagoda
Boating trip in the lovely Phewa Lake is the foremost attraction of Pokhara. Padding out into the middle of the lake is nice way to spend a quiet afternoon. Phewa lake is the largest lake in Pokhara valley and the second largest lake in Nepal. Encircled by Sarangkot and Kaskikot hills, the lake holds a pagoda - style temple, the Barahi Temple being the most important religious monuments in resort town Pokhara. Erected in the Center of Phewa Lake, this two-storied pagoda is dedicated to Barahi, the Hindu god Vishnu's third incarnation in the form of wild boar.World Peace Pagoda - The brilliant white pagodas set on a narrow ridge above the lake, constructed by monks from the Japanese organization. The shining golden statue depicts the Buddha in the posture he assumed when he was born, near the base of the stupa is the grave of a Japanese monk murdered by anti-Buddhist extremists during the construction of the monuments. Besides being an impressive sight in itself, the shrine is a vantage point which offers spectacular views of the Annapurna range and Pokhara city. There are three paths up to the pagoda ranging from a 20 minute to 2-hours hike.
Day 12 Return Flight to Kathmandu via Sightseeing in Pashupatinath & Bhaktapur City, Drive to Dhulikhel
Flight back to Kathmandu from domestic airport.Pashupatinath Temple: Pashupatinath Temple is one of the sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva - national deity - Lord of animals. Pashupatinath Temple is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites' since 1979. Though only Hindus are permitted to enter the main courtyard of the temple, tourists, however can view the temple from the eastern side of the Bagmati river; such vantage point offers the pleasing Kodak-moment of the temple. Pashupatinath is also one of the 14 places in the capital, where cremations take place. Hindus believe it is a performance of getting Nirvana, after death, as the Bagmati river eventually meets with the holy Gangas River. Along with various temples and monuments at the site, one can also see many Sadhus with their amusing avatars, imitating like Lord Shiva.
Bhaktapur is the essential Newari City with some of the finest and authentic architectures of Nepal. Among the three cities, of the Kathmnadu Valley, it was the largest city of Newari Kingdom and capital of Nepal during the Malla's period. It is one of the fascinating places to explore the traditional crafts of pottery, metalwork, art and the finest woodwork hand skills of Nepalese artists. As time goes by, the place has become an energetic atmosphere, a modern melting pot - to be precise, where one can encounter the old street and temples, whose existence dates back to centuries, and to another hand, modernization has brought the sense of responsibilities to preserve the culture and to catch up the rest of the world.
Escape the sprawling city to Dhulikhel, set on the Kathmandu Valley rim, watched over by the towering 143 foot statue of Shiva.(30 Km, 1 hr)
Day 13 Afternoon, return back to Kathmandu - Evening free time on your own
Dhulikhel is a fascinating old Newari town at the foot of a nearby hill, some 32 kms east of Kathmandu. It is a lovely place famous for its scenic beauty and old tradition. From here one can have a complete panoramic view of the snowy ranges. It is one of the best place to explore sunset and sunrise view.This free time in Kathmandu you can enjoy local shopping in market, visiting tourist area - Thamel, cooking course, observing local market - Asan.
